Learn more about our 2022-2023 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment with this tutorial! You will discover what has changed this year, how to enroll, helpful reminders and much more!  You are also able to learn more about a specific coverage offered through Uplift by exploring our Virtual Benefits Fair!

Newly Hired Employees have 30 days to complete their Benefits Enrollment. To speak to a Benefits Specialist call 1-844-880-6774 (8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday) or schedule an appointment by visiting https://a.flexbooker.com/reserve/agm.

Open Enrollment is the only time in the year when you can make changes to your benefits without a Qualifying Event (e.g. marriage, childbirth, divorce, etc.), and this year the window opens on Tuesday, July 5th and closes on Friday, August 12th. The benefit elections you made will be in effect from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. Because rates have changed, we have two new medical plan options, and a new dental carrier, it is strongly suggested that you review our 2022-23 Benefits Guide and actively participate in Open Enrollment.

If you were an employee with Uplift and enrolled in benefits in 2021-22, there is action required on your part to complete your 2022-23 plan year benefit enrollment.  You will need to re-elect coverage including Flexible & Health Savings Accounts (“FSA”/ “HSA”) which must be actively re-elected each year. To have a spending account for 2022-23, you are required to enroll online through Frontline Teams before August 12, 2022.

Thank you for enrolling!

Important information about your plan:

Not sure which plan you have? You can find the TRS-ActiveCare and Regional HMO plans from last year below to see what your 2022-23 plan is.

TRS-ActiveCare plans

TRS-ActiveCare Primary – If you were enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare Primary plan last year you will continue coverage in this plan unless you change your election through Annual Enrollment.

TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ – If you were enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan in 2021-22 and don’t take action during Annual Enrollment, you will be enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan, and a PCP will be assigned to you. You can change your PCP in BAM or by calling a PHG at 1-866-355-5999.

Important: If you enrolled in either the TRS-ActiveCare Primary plan or TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan, and you use any provider who is not your PCP or a specialist you were referred to by your PCP, your claims will be denied – even if the provider is in network. This means you’ll have to pay out of pocket for your care.

TRS-ActiveCare HD – If your 2021-22 plan was TRS-ActiveCare HD and you didn’t make any changes during Annual Enrollment, you will remain in TRS-ActiveCare HD for the 2022-23 plan year.

TRS-ActiveCare 2 – If your 2021-22 plan was TRS-ActiveCare 2 and you didn’t make any changes during Annual Enrollment, you’ll remain in this plan for the 2022-23 plan year.

Regional HMO plans

If your 2021-22 plan was the Scott & White Health Plan – Central and North Texas HMO, your 2022-23 plan remains the Scott & White Health Plan – Central and North Texas HMO.

You can get details about all the regional HMO plans here.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, a Division of Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company, an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association

New PCP Requirement: If you’re currently in the TRS-ActiveCare Select plan and you do not take action during Annual Enrollment this summer, you’ll be enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan which requires you to have a PCP. Also, if you enroll in the new TRS-ActiveCare Primary plan, you’ll need to select a PCP. On both TRS-ActiveCare Primary and TRS-ActiveCare Primary+, referrals from your PCP will be required to access certain health care services and access to specialists.
